Pasadena’s Charter Amendment XVI
Pasadena property owners, please remember, October is the last month to register with the City of Pasadena’s rental registry and avoid late fees.
To register, landlords must log into Pasadena’s Rental Registry portal, review property and unit information; confirm your ownership details, contact information, and unit data are accurate.
Ensure all updates are entered correctly in the Rental Registry before the deadline and pay the rental registry fee, this year’s registration fee is $238.00 per unit.
A grace period with no late penalties extends through Thursday, Nov. 7.
Beginning Friday, Nov. 8, late fees will be assessed based on the number of days payment remains outstanding:
| 8-45 Days | November 8-December 22, 2025 | 15% | $35.70 |
| 46-90 Days | December 23-February 5, 2026 | 30% | $71.40 |
| 91 Days+ | February 6 and after | 50% | $119.00 |
